We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Family Support Practitioner to join our Disabled Children’s Team.
About the Role:
This rewarding role involves responding to, coordinating, and delivering a range of social care services to children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area. We work closely with colleagues across various services and have established partnerships with agencies across health, education, support services, and adult services to respond effectively to the needs of children and young people.
About You:
We are seeking applications from workers with relevant experience and a specific interest in this area of work, who are looking to develop their skills and contribute to service development.
Our team is based at Civic Centre in Keynsham with the Children and Young People Service. We seek an enthusiastic worker to join our team. You will experience a culture of mutual support, receive regular supervision, and appropriate training. You should be committed to using a wide range of skills to promote and safeguard the welfare and development of children and to assist their carers in creative and innovative ways to ensure timely care and support planning and intervention.
