Job summary

Chadwick Nott is seeking a capable Family Solicitor to join its Cardiff team on a hybrid basis. You will manage a busy caseload of privately funded family matters and deliver practical, empathetic advice to clients during sensitive circumstances.

The role covers divorce, financial remedy, cohabitation disputes, and private children matters with opportunities to broaden into public law children work. The firm offers a supportive environment, strong development prospects, and flexible working

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Family Law
• Strong background in privately funded family matters
• Experience handling divorce, financial remedy and children matters
• Public law children experience is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Strong organisational and drafting skills

Family Solicitor - Cardiff - Hybrid Working

An established and growing regional law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its successful team in Cardiff. With a strong presence across Wales and the South West, this award-winning practice has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal services and investing in its people. You'll join a Legal 500-ranked Family team handling a broad range of privately funded family matters with scope to develop experience in public law children work if desired.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of family matters, providing practical and empathetic advice to clients during what are often challenging and sensitive circumstances.

Typical work will include:

• Divorce and separation matters
• Financial remedy proceedings
• Cohabitation disputes
• Private children matters
• Building strong and lasting client relationships
• Supporting business development and professional networking activities

There is also the opportunity to gain exposure to public law children work and care proceedings for those looking to broaden their expertise.

Candidate Requirements
