Weightmans in the North West is seeking a Family Solicitor to help develop and expand our Family Law practice. You will manage your own private client caseload and work closely with the head of department to deliver excellent service.
You should have 0-3 PQE, experience in children and financial matters, court experience in Sheriff Court and Court of Session, and strong IT, communication and organisational skills. The role offers a supportive team and clear targets.
Our Family team covers the whole of the UK, with personnel in Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle. The Family Team has been recognised in the Legal 500, and Chambers with a number of Partners being designated as “Leading Individuals” and experts in their field, reflecting our enviable reputation for advising clients on all their family legal needs. We are proud to provide a personal, transparent and efficient service by a team which includes partners and solicitors qualified in English and Scottish Law, as well as trained Collaborative Lawyers and Mediators. We are members of Resolution and Consensus. We have a diverse range of clients and also act on behalf of public bodies.
As a Family Solicitor you will be required to help develop and expand our Family Law practice in the North West. You will work closely with the head of department Fiona Davidson to ensure excellent client service.
