Henderson Scott is seeking a qualified Family Solicitor to join our Bournemouth team. You will handle a varied caseload of private family matters, including divorce, high-value financial remedy work and private children cases, with autonomy to manage your own caseload and develop client relationships.

The role offers a salary of £60,000-£80,000 DOE, hybrid working, and a supportive, collaborative environment with strong opportunities for long-term progression and business development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Family Solicitor with 5-8 years' PQE.
• Strong technical experience across private family law.
• Experience handling complex financial matters and/or private children work.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage own caseload with autonomy.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Commercially minded with interest in business development.
• Willing to support and develop junior team members.
• Proactive and collaborative approach.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified Family Solicitor with 5-8 years' PQE
• Have strong technical experience across private family law
• Have experience handling complex financial matters and/or private children work
• Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills
• Be confident managing your own caseload and working with a high degree of autonomy
• Have strong organisational and time-management skills
• Be commercially minded with an interest in business development
• Be willing to support and develop more junior members of the team
• Take a proactive and collaborative approach to their work
