The firm is seeking a Family Paralegal to support a busy family law department in Cambridge or Bristol. You will work closely with experienced family lawyers, handling a varied caseload and contributing to excellent client service.

Ideal candidates will have previous paralegal or legal assistant experience in family law, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to developing a long-term career in this field.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Family Paralegal or Legal Assistant in family law.
• Solid understanding of family law procedures and court processes.
• Excellent organisation with competing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and client-focused approach.
• Interest in developing a long-term family law career.

Responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with a varied caseload including divorce and financial remedy.
• Draft documents, correspondence, forms, and bundles.
• Liaise with clients, courts, counsel and third parties.
• Take client instructions and provide administrative and legal support.
• Manage files and ensure compliance with firm procedures.
• Deliver high standards of client care within the family team.
