Additional Resources is seeking a Family Paralegal for the Domestic Abuse Department. You will manage your own caseload of domestic abuse matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, providing professional and sensitive legal assistance to vulnerable clients.

The role offers fully remote or hybrid working with a salary up to £35,000 depending on experience and a range of benefits. You can be based anywhere in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic abuse legal work and managing a caseload from start to finish.
• Strong drafting, organisational and communication skills.
• Good attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems.
• Candidates who can speak additional languages.

Responsabilités

• Managing your own caseload of domestic abuse matters from start to finish, including Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
• Taking initial instructions from clients with sensitivity and understanding.
• Preparing urgent court applications, statements, chronologies and supporting documentation.
• Completing Legal Aid applications, including emergency funding, and working with CCMS.
• Communicating with courts, police, support workers and interpreters.
• Supporting vulnerable clients and keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
• Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with safeguarding procedures.

An opportunity has arisen for a Family Paralegal to join the Domestic Abuse Department of a well-established law practice, supporting clients through sensitive and challenging legal matters.

As a Family Paralegal, you will manage your own caseload of domestic abuse cases from initial instruction through to conclusion, providing professional and sensitive legal assistance to vulnerable clients.

• Candidates who can speak additional languages.
