Job summary

Additional Resources is seeking a Family Paralegal to support a domestic abuse team. You will handle a caseload of domestic abuse matters and assist vulnerable clients with sensitivity throughout proceedings.

This hybrid role offers salary up to £35,000 and a benefits package. You will work alongside solicitors in the Family Law team and liaise with courts, police, and support agencies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within family Law.
• Background with Legal Aid and CCMS.
• Strong knowledge of domestic abuse matters.
• Ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism and compassion.
• Experience managing domestic abuse cases from initial instruction through to conclusion would be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Managing cases involving Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
• Assisting with Legal Aid applications and CCMS.
• Preparing statements, chronologies and court documentation.
• Communicating with courts, police, support agencies and interpreters.
