Job summary

The Olympus Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Family Link and Intervention Worker to support its primary schools. The role focuses on early intervention, attendance, inclusion and partnerships with parents, carers and external agencies across the Trust.

It provides strategic and operational leadership for family support, with a commitment to evidence-informed interventions and improving outcomes for vulnerable learners. The position is based across primary sites within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Significant experience with learners with behavioural, SEMH or attendance needs.
• Strong relationship-building skills to engage quickly.
• Passion for inclusion and removing barriers to learning.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication, organisation and record-keeping.
• Understands safeguarding, behaviour support and relational practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop a trust-wide early help and family support network.
• Create a primary early help and intervention register.
• Share expertise, resources and effective practice.
• Strengthen community engagement and multi-agency partnerships.
• Deliver evidence-based intervention programmes.
• Enhance transition support for vulnerable learners.
• Deliver targeted mentoring and intervention programmes.
• Work closely with families to strengthen engagement and build capacity.
• Support learners with SEMH, behaviour, attendance and SEND-related needs.
• Monitor progress and evaluate intervention impact.
