Job summary

Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College invites applications for a Family Liaison Officer to strengthen engagement with students and families. Qualifications

  • Experience proactively managing attendance systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support families to improve attendance and engagement with school.
  • Coordinate with staff to remove barriers to education for students.

  • Monitor and report on attendance and welfare concerns.

Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College is an improving school.   • Holds a full UK driving licence
  • Experience of using SIMS or similar database in a school setting
  • Experience of working wth children, young people within the field of education, social care, community or voluntary sector
  • Experience, knowlege and understanding of working with children, young people and families and dealing with barriers to education.
  • A track record of proactively managing attendance systems
