Job summary

Service Care Solutions in Blackburn is seeking a Family Law Solicitor on a hybrid basis to join a busy family team handling a high-volume caseload. Hybrid basis (3 days in the office and 2 days at home) offers flexibility while maintaining client support.

The role requires a qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in family law, strong client care, and the ability to draft opinions, court documents, and represent clients in appropriate proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on issues such as divorce, separation, child arrangements, financial settlements, and domestic abuse.
• Handle all aspects of divorce proceedings, including filing petitions, responding to applications, and guiding clients through the legal process.
• Prepare court applications, witness statements, consent orders, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, and settlement proposals.

About you

• Excellent listening skills, especially when dealing with sensitive personal situations
• Confident in both written (legal drafting) and verbal communication (client meetings, court advocacy)
• Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in Family Law
