Job summary

Service Care Solutions, on behalf of a well-established law firm in Bolton, is recruiting a Private Family Law Solicitor to join the busy Family Department on a permanent basis.

We seek a solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE to manage a varied caseload of private family law matters and to benefit from ongoing training and development within an established regional practice. Hybrid working available after probation.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year PQE in Family Law.
• Experience managing own caseload of private family law matters.
• Experience with privately funded and Legal Aid work is advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of private family law matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.
• Handle a varied caseload covering divorce, separation, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic violence proceedings.
• Undertake a mixture of privately funded and Legal Aid family work across relevant areas of family law.
• Prepare and draft legal documentation, including court applications, witness statements, financial orders and settlement agreements.
• Conduct negotiations and represent clients in court proceedings where appropriate.
• Undertake your own advocacy where required.

Service Care Solutions are working in partnership with a well-established and reputable law firm in Bolton, who are looking to recruit a Private Family Law Solicitor to join their busy and friendly Family Department on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Solicitor with at least 1 year's PQE to join a supportive team, managing a varied caseload of private family law matters.

The successful candidate will benefit from ongoing training, guidance and professional development, alongside the opportunity to work within an established regional practice.

Location: Bolton / Hybrid after probation

Salary: From £40,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break)

PQE: 1 year+

Key Responsibilities as a Private Family Law Solicitor

• Manage your own caseload of private family law matters from initial instruction through to conclusion.

• You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
