Job summary

Bracknell Forest Council is seeking an Integrated Group Work Officer to design and deliver engaging programmes for families arriving through Government Migration Schemes. You’ll run wellbeing, digital skills and employment readiness activities, coordinating with partner agencies to support integration and resilience.

The role involves safeguarding, working in a multidisciplinary team and delivering activities at the Bracknell Hotel. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering group-based interventions with diverse families.
• Ability to work with partner agencies to deliver integrated services.
• Experience safeguarding vulnerable individuals and handling sensitive areas.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs and plan group work programmes to support Afghan families.
• Coordinate and deliver a range of activities: ESOL, financial literacy, health, employment readiness.
• Collaborate with partners to tailor programmes and address cultural sensitivities.
• Deliver community engagement activities and organise events at the hotel.
• Monitor quality and seek continuous improvement.
