Job summary

Dorset Council UK is seeking a Family Help Social Worker to help deliver timely help to children and families, across targeted early help, Child in Need, and Child Protection with a strong safeguarding focus.

You will work in integrated locality teams, collaborate with the Multi-Agency Child Protection Team, and contribute to plans while maintaining professional judgement within a safeguarding framework.

Qualifications

• You will hold a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
• Newly qualified holders can join the ASYE programme for structured development.
• Experienced practitioners will show statutory practice, clear risk analysis and court work experience.
