Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited in Walsall, United Kingdom, is seeking a Team Manager for the Family Help and Protection Service on a 3‑month local authority contract. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of Social Workers, ASYEs, Trainee Social Workers and Family Help Practitioners to safeguard and support children and families.

The role focuses on safeguarding, care planning, pre-proceedings and court work, workforce development and maintaining high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with SW England registration.
• Significant experience in Children's Social Care.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team and manage complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team of social care professionals.
• Oversee safeguarding, case management and court work.
• Drive workforce development and ASYE support.
• Ensure statutory timescales and performance standards are met.
