Zusammenfassung

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Family Finding team in Birmingham. The role focuses on identifying family connections for children in care and promoting meaningful family relationships as part of family-centered practice.

You will support reunification and work closely with families and external agencies. Applicants should hold a BA/MA in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England, with experience in family finding or reunification contexts and

Qualifikationen

Experience with children and families, especially family finding or reunification contexts.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse communities.
Proficiency in case management systems and report writing.

Aufgaben

Conduct thorough assessments to identify potential family connections for children in care.
Facilitate family group conferences and meetings to promote collaboration and decision-making.
Develop and implement plans prioritising reunification and family preservation.
Build trusting relationships with children, families and external agencies.
Document casework and maintain records in line with local authority policies.
