Job description

Job Title: Family Engagement Officer

Hours: 15 hours per week, term time – temporary grant funded until March 31st, 2026. Funding permitting, the post could be extended.
Start Date: Summer term 2025 (Date TBC)

Job Description:

The Governing Body, staff, and pupils seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed Family Engagement Officer to support our families and pupils. The successful candidate will:

  • Effectively engage and work closely with families, staff, pupils, and the wider community to motivate pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Work as part of a team and liaise closely between teaching staff and parents.
  • Work with families and pupils to improve attendance across the school.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and the local community to support families and pupils.
  • Provide nurture provision for pupils.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
