Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing staff teams within a Family Assessment Unit or similar setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and risk assessment.
• Excellent written/verbal communication and report quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and supervise a team of Family Support Workers, Assessors, and Social Workers.
• Oversee delivery of high-quality parenting and family assessments within timescales.
• Ensure safeguarding concerns are identified, escalated, and managed appropriately.
• Provide regular supervision and performance management to staff.
• Quality assure assessment reports and documentation.
• Monitor workloads and timescales to ensure effective service delivery.
• Collaborate with local authorities and partner agencies.
