Job summary

Trafford Leisure is looking for a Postural Stability Instructor to deliver falls prevention sessions across Trafford, including Altrincham, Sale, Urmston and Partington. The role offers flexible casual hours and opportunities to develop as the service grows.

You will run structured strength and balance programmes for older adults, adapt exercises, monitor progress and maintain participant records, with safeguarding procedures and DBS checks in place.

Qualifications

• Level 4 PSI qualification.
• CPR certification.
• Experience delivering falls prevention or community exercise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate people with a range of abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging strength and balance sessions.
• Adapt exercises to meet individual needs.
• Monitor attendance, progress and outcomes.
• Maintain participant records and assessment information.
