Job summary

Heightsafe, a UK specialist in Work at Height, Fall Protection and Façade Access, seeks a Test and Inspection Supervisor. You will inspect and test fall protection systems, liaise with clients on-site, and ensure compliance with RAMS and standards across the South and wider UK.

The role demands independent on-site work, sound decision-making, and regular travel with overnight stays. Relevant qualifications and hands-on testing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fall protection or height safety.
• Experience inspecting and testing fall arrest and height safety equipment.
• Practical experience installing and testing fixings including torque setting.
• Good understanding of current Work at Height regulations.
• Confident identifying faults and carrying out remedial work.
• Strong attention to detail with practical problem-solving approach.
• Good communication with clients.
• Ability to work safely at height.
• Willingness to travel UK and stay away overnight.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test permanent access and fall protection equipment across client sites.
• Identify compliance issues and carry out remedial work as required.
• Follow RAMS, British Standards and manufacturer guidance.
• Maintain accurate records and high safety standards.
• Travel and overnight stays are a regular part of the role.
