Job summary

Heightsafe, a UK specialist in Work at Height, Fall Protection and Façade Access, seeks a senior Fall Protection Supervisor to lead installation teams and ensure safe, on-time delivery on site. The role requires hands-on leadership, interpreting complex drawings, and delivering high standards in line with BS regulations and manufacturer guidance.

You'll liaise with Site Managers and clients while maintaining installation, inspection and maintenance of fall arrest equipment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience specifically within fall protection or height safety.
• Experience supervising installation teams on site.
• Strong practical experience installing fall arrest and height safety systems.
• Thorough understanding of current Work at Height regulations.
• Experience installing and testing fixings, including torque setting.
• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
• Strong organisation, communication and client-facing skills.
• SSSTS, CSCS, IPAF and Rescue Training.
• Willingness to travel UK with overnight stays.
• Full clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation operations on site and manage the team to deliver work safely and to approved drawings and standards.
• Liaise with Site Managers and clients while remaining hands-on with installation, inspection and maintenance of fall arrest equipment.
• Coordinate on-site workloads, priorities and reporting via Heightsafe CRM and portals.
• Take responsibility for company equipment, materials and vehicles.

Job description

A Fall Protection Supervisor is needed to join Heightsafe, an established UK specialist in Work at Height, Fall Protection and Façade Access. This is a senior, hands on position for an experienced fall protection professional who can lead installation teams and take responsibility for the safe, successful delivery of work on site.

Heightsafe is an established name in the Work at Height industry, delivering specialist products, installation, compliance, training and advice to major organisations across the UK. As the business continues to grow, they now need an experienced Fall Protection / Height SafetySupervisor to strengthen their installation team across the South.

As Fall Protection Supervisor, you'll take ownership of installation operations on site, leading the team and ensuring work is completed safely, correctly and in line with approved drawings, method statements, British Standards and manufacturer guidance. You'll liaise directly with Site Managers and clients while remaining hands on with the installation, inspection and maintenance of fall arrest equipment.

This is very much a site based leadership role. You'll need the technical experience to understand complex drawings, solve practical problems and maintain high standards, alongside the confidence to organise people, workloads and priorities. You'll also complete project reporting through Heightsafe's CRM and online portals and take responsibility for company equipment, materials and vehicles.

To qualify: You should be a Fall Protection Supervisor, Fall Arrest Supervisor, Height Safety Supervisor, Senior Fall Protection Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates...

• 4+ years' experience specifically within fall protection or height safety
• Previous experience supervising installation teams and work on site
• Strong practical experience installing fall arrest and height safety systems
• A thorough understanding of current Work at Height regulations
• Experience installing and testing fixings, including torque setting
• Confidence interpreting complex technical drawings
• Strong organisation, communication and client facing skills
• SSSTS, CSCS, IPAF and Rescue Training
• Flexibility for UK travel and regular overnight stays
• A full clean UK driving licence

Sentinel, PASMA, IRATA or IOSH qualifications would be advantageous.

In return, you'll receive £50,000 to £55,000, 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays and paid overtime. A standard day allows for eight hours on site plus one hour travelling to and from site, with additional time qualifying for overtime. Although based in the South, you'll also attend Heightsafe's Liverpool office for training, social events and occasional business requirements.
