Job summary

Heightsafe, a UK specialist in Work at Height, Fall Protection and Façade Access, is seeking a hands-on Fall Protection Test and Inspection Supervisor to cover client sites across the South and wider UK. The role focuses on ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant and fit for purpose.

You will inspect and test systems such as fall restraint and arrest gear, ladders and rails, identify issues, and perform remedial work.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in fall protection or height safety.
• Strong experience inspecting and testing fall arrest and height safety equipment.
• Practical experience installing and testing fixings, including torque setting.
• Good understanding of current Work at Height regulations.
• Confidence identifying faults and carrying out remedial work.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Good communication skills with clients.
• Ability to work safely at height and travel UK-wide.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fall protection and height safety equipment across client sites.
• Identify compliance issues and carry out remedial work where required.
• Maintain accurate records and RAMS in line with standards.
• Travel across the UK with regular overnight stays.
• Follow manufacturer guidance and ensure ongoing safety compliance.
