South Staffordshire Group is seeking a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to support engineers with the install, testing, inspection and repair of height safety systems on varied sites across the UK.

You'll learn industry best practices, develop practical skills through on-the-job training and formal learning opportunities, and contribute to delivering safe, high-quality work while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualificações

• CSCS Card required.
• Experience in construction, engineering, maintenance, roofing, or similar trades.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Interest in practical, hands-on work and field-based environment.

Responsabilidades

• Assist experienced engineers with the installation, testing, inspection, and repair of height safety systems
• Learn industry best practices and safe working procedures while working on a variety of sites across the UK

What You’ll Need: Essential:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• An interest in practical, hands-on work and working in a field-based environment
• A flexible approach, with willingness to travel nationwide
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Confidence working at height, or a willingness to develop in this area
• A strong commitment to health, safety and quality
• Experience within construction, engineering, maintenance, roofing, or other practical trades
• CSCS Card
• Previous experience working outdoors or in a field-based role
