Job summary

South Staffordshire Group is seeking a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to support experienced engineers in installing, testing and repairing height safety systems. You will learn best practices and travel across sites in the UK, contributing to safe, high-quality project delivery.

This role offers on-the-job training toward an L3 NVQ in Working at Heights, door-to-door pay, and strong health, safety, and development commitments within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Interest in practical, hands-on work and field-based environment.
• Willingness to travel nationwide.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Confidence working at height, or willingness to develop.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
• Experience within construction, engineering, maintenance, roofing, or other practical trades.
• CSCS Card.
• Previous experience working outdoors or in a field-based role.
