Job summary

Marsh People & Investments in London (with UK options) seeks a talented consultant to join its Workforce Transformation Consulting team in a hybrid role requiring three days in the office.

You will lead and support DEI, pay gap, and pay transparency projects, manage multiple workstreams, translate data into practical recommendations, and help win new opportunities, with chances for progression across Europe and globally.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in fair pay, reward, DEI, and workforce consulting.
• Proven track record managing multiple small- to mid-sized projects and workstreams with accountability for delivery quality and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland gender pay gap requirements and understanding of EU Pay Transparency Directive.
• Experience translating quantitative and qualitative findings into practical client recommendations.
• Advanced Excel and data interpretation skills, with ability to tell a concise story from analysis.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently with limited guidance on complex tasks.
• Team-oriented with collaboration across disciplines.
• Curious, practical mindset toward AI for improved delivery and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client delivery across fair pay and DEI projects, including pay gap compliance, pay equity analysis, pay transparency readiness, DEI diagnostics, workshops and strategy development.
• Manage mid-sized projects and multiple workstreams, ensure delivery quality, and maintain strong day-to-day client relationships; include UK & Ireland Pay Gap projects and EU support.
• Understand client goals and translate analysis into practical recommendations and transformation agendas.
• Review and interpret quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce clear client recommendations and action plans.
• Lead client presentations and contribute to executive discussions, workshops and readouts.
• Seek to upsell and expand existing projects and support new opportunities.
• Stay informed on UK and Ireland pay gap reporting and EU transparency developments, linking compliance with strategy.
• Apply AI curiosity to improve day-to-day delivery, propositions, and knowledge capture.
• Contribute to sales and business development by shaping proposals and identifying follow-on opportunities.
• Coach and review junior colleagues and support capability-building within the team.
