Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking a dedicated Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to join the Additional Learning Support team. You will assess and recommend appropriate EAAs for JCQ-compliant assessments, collaborate with curriculum teams, SEND/ALS colleagues and Exams Team, and maintain accurate records to support fair outcomes.

The role requires Further Education experience, strong assessment skills and a commitment to continuous improvement, with flexibility to work evenings when required to ensure

Qualifications

• Experience in Further Education, especially SEND and inclusion.
• Strong ability to analyse, evaluate and synthesise assessment findings to inform recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine appropriate Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) in line with JCQ regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation; provide expert advice and guidance to students, staff and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams, SEND/ALS colleagues and the Exams Team to implement arrangements and support fair outcomes.
• Demonstrate flexibility with working hours, including occasional evenings, to deliver a high-quality service.
