Job summary

Blackburn College is seeking an experienced Exam Access Arrangements Assessor to join our Additional Learning Support team. You will assess and identify suitable EAAs for students, ensuring JCQ compliance and fair adjustments to support achievement.

Working with students, curriculum teams and the Exams Team, you will document findings, make recommendations and help implement arrangements that remove barriers to success.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exam access arrangements in FE/SEND environments.
• Strong understanding of assessment processes and JCQ regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify appropriate exam access arrangements for students.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure compliance and data protection.
• Collaborate with curriculum teams, SEND/ALS colleagues and Exams Team.
• Provide guidance on arrangements and support their implementation.
