University of Portsmouth is seeking an experienced marketing professional to lead marketing and student recruitment for the Faculty of Business and Law in Portsmouth. You will develop and deliver plans to meet UK and international recruitment targets and lead a small team.
The role combines strategic campaign management, digital presence, events, and outreach, with hybrid working and in-office three days a week. Interviews are anticipated for 19 October 2026.
We're looking for an experienced marketing professional to lead marketing and student recruitment activity for our Faculty of Business and Law.
In this role, you will develop and deliver marketing and recruitment plans that support the achievement of the Faculty's UK and international recruitment targets. You will lead a small team and work closely with academic and marketing colleagues to deliver marketing campaigns, manage the Faculty’s digital presence and coordinate recruitment events and outreach activity.
You will have experience of delivering successful marketing activity and using data and insight to drive performance. You will also be an effective people manager with excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the University.
Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role. The postholder would be expected to work in the office three days per week; however, there will need to be flexibility, as they may be required to be on campus for additional days to run events and other activities.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 19th October 2026.
