Factory Worker Position in Chelmsford

Our client, located on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is seeking a Factory Worker for a permanent position. The role initially involves a 3-month probationary period through Prime Appointments, after which a permanent contract will be offered, including an increased hourly rate and participation in the company's bonus scheme.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop and progress within a factory environment for a successful company that provides bespoke solutions to the construction industry.

Once permanent, the successful candidate will receive ongoing training and opportunities for advancement.

The role offers excellent earning potential, with overtime paid at time and a half and hours available each week.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with loading and unloading machinery
2. Transporting products from the yard for manufacturing
3. Feeding products into production
4. Using hand tools
5. Assisting skilled machine operators and setters

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing and production environments
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Keen to learn and develop skills

• Own transport is required due to location
