At Spalding, we employ around 540 colleagues. We produce coleslaw, potato salad, salad bar bulk products (2kg), pasta salads, and grains for major retailers including Morrisons, Co-op, Asda, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Nando's, and Pizza Hut. Our site features a restaurant offering hot meals to staff.

What you'll be doing:

Factory Operative - Packing - Day Shift - Red Shift Wed-Sat week 1 / Thurs-Sat week 2, 06:00 - 18:00 at £13.03 per hour.

As a Factory Operative, your responsibilities include preparing production lines, batching and weighing ingredients into large bins, and completing all checks. You will ensure team productivity, machinery operation, and monitor production to meet KPIs for productivity and efficiency.

What we're looking for:

Applicants should have a good level of education in verbal, written, and numerical skills. Experience in food manufacturing, especially salads, is essential. Flexibility in shifts and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment are required. The role may involve shift or department changes to meet business needs.
