Job summary

Premier Work Support is recruiting for a permanent Factory Operative to join the Casting department in the Medway area. You will operate and load/unload robots, carry out hand dipping, and perform basic quality checks as part of a busy manufacturing team.

Full training will be provided. Hours are Mon-Thu 06:00-16:30 and Fri 06:00-14:30, offering a reliable early-shift pattern. Experience in a factory is preferred, but you will be trained to meet our high standards in safety and production.

A great opportunity has arisen with one of our long-standing engineering clients for a permanent Factory Operative to join their Casting department in the Medway area.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 06:00-16:30; Friday 06:00-14:30

Previous factory or manufacturing experience is required, but full training will be provided.

The Role

• Operating and loading/unloading robots
• Carrying out hand dipping
• Mixing and testing slurry
• Operating the boilerclave
• Processing components in line with work instructions
• Completing production records and job cards
• Carrying out quality checks
• Following health & safety procedures and using PPE correctly
• Carrying out manual handling duties safely
