Job summary

The Best Connection are recruiting for a Concrete Operative at a well-established Precast Manufacturing site in Somercotes. This hands-on role offers ongoing, full-time work with weekly pay and onsite parking.

Youll join a growing team performing casting, bed and mould setup, while upholding health and safety standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, construction, or groundworks, a strong work ethic, and comfort with physical manual tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in manufacturing, construction, or groundworks.
• Comfortable with manual, physical work.
• Strong work ethic and reliability (job longevity preferred).
• Health and safety procedures knowledge is a plus.

• General manual labour within a Precast Concrete environment.

• Setting up casting beds and moulds.

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a Concrete Operative to work for a well-established Precast Manufacturing sitebased in Somercotes.

Key Responsibilities

• General manual labour within a Precast Concrete


• Casting concrete products


• Setting up casting beds and moulds


• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed


• Supporting production and maintaining a clean working environment

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or groundworks


• Strong work ethic and reliability (job longevity preferred)


• Comfortable with manual, physical work


• Basic understanding of working with tools and materials

Essential Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the UK


• Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol test prior to starting

Hours & Pay

• Monday: 06:00 - 16:30


• Tuesday: 06:00 - 16:30


• Wednesday: 06:00 - 16:00


• Thursday: 06:00 - 16:00


• Friday: 06:00 - 15:30


• £13.22 per hour (0.90P bonus per hour, totalling £14.12 per hour)


• £19.83 on Saturdays


• Ongoing, full-time work
