Farmworker

Poultry Farmworker

• 48 hours per week
• 6 days per week
• £11.44 per hour
  
  

With the business expanding we are looking to recruit additional farm workers to our farms team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain bird health, welfare, compliance and monitor performance.
• Setting up and maintenance of site equipment.
• Attend chick deliveries.
• To check weigh birds as required.
• Administer routine vaccines and appropriate treatments where required.
  
  

Essential Skills And Experience Required:

• Previous experience with livestock.
• Good communicator.
• Ability to accurately record and understand farm information.
• UK driving licence.
• Team player.
• Good organiser.
• Flexible approach to working.
  
  

Desirable:

• Good understanding and experience of all aspects of poultry production.
• Excellent understanding of bird welfare issues including a sound knowledge of Red Tractor and RSPCA Assured production.

• Monday to Friday

We are also looking for people who have the talent and drive to progress to Team Leader and Supervisory roles.
