Job summary

Brioche Pasquier is seeking a Maintenance Trainer to support the UK manufacturing facility in Milton Keynes. You will work hands-on with production equipment, delivering practical and classroom training and coaching line staff to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will develop training materials, monitor performance, and participate in maintenance planning while contributing to a strong safety culture and ongoing process improvement.

Qualifications

• Understands production equipment and processes with the ability to support integration, optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on technical expertise in maintaining production line efficiency including fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
• Experience delivering practical and classroom-based technical training across engineering disciplines.
• Strong coaching and mentoring to develop operators and line personnel.
• Commitment to people development and identifying skills gaps.
• Ability to develop and improve training materials, work instructions and technical documentation.
• Ability to manage maintenance resources to ensure availability within budget.
• Promotes a safety culture and compliance with Health & Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance training programs and on-the-floor coaching for operators and maintenance staff.
• Develop and update training materials and standard work instructions.
• Analyse equipment issues and drive root-cause corrective actions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering to optimise line performance and maintenance scheduling.
• Support on-call rota when required to support the factory.

Job description

Location: Milton Keynes, UK
Salary: £42,000 £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday Friday, 08:30 17:30. However, operational needs may require some flexibility, including participating in a weekly on-call rota to provide support for the factory.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

You Must Be Able To Demonstrate

• An understanding of production equipment and processes, with the ability to support their integration, optimisation and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on technical expertise in maintaining production line efficiency, including fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, repair activities and maintenance improvement initiatives.
• Experience in delivering practical and classroom-based technical training across a range of engineering disciplines, including mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop the technical competency and autonomy of operators and line personnel in equipment operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
• A commitment to people development, supporting stakeholders in identifying skills gaps and development opportunities.
• The capability to develop, maintain and continuously improve training materials, work instructions and technical documentation.
• The ability to manage maintenance resources to ensure availability whilst maintaining budget control.
• A safety culture mentality, ensuring the promotion of and compliance with company Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Computer literacy and experience of using maintenance or production systems.

You May Be Able To Demonstrate

• A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in an engineering related subject (Mechanics, Electrics etc.)
