Factory Machine Operators

Description

Our client has been operating in Ashburton for over 40 years and is part of a large global group that manufactures high-quality plastic products for clients nationally and worldwide. Due to high demand and ongoing growth, they are seeking Factory Machine Operators to work 8 or 10-hour shifts, including day, night, or twilight shifts, Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week.

Your responsibilities will include operating plastic extruder or rotational moulding machines to produce PE and PVC pipes and other plastic products, while performing quality checks to meet specific standards. This position is initially temporary but may become permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for applicants who:

• Have previous experience operating machinery,
• Are physically fit and capable,
• Possess basic knowledge of hand-held tools,
• Holding a current OSH forklift license is an advantage but not required.

The successful candidate will need to pass a pre-employment drug test and must have no criminal convictions. This is a great opportunity to join a stable, leading company within a global group.
