AWE plc is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to oversee a portfolio of operational facilities in one of the UK's safety-critical settings. The role focuses on safety, compliance and availability to support delivery, with responsibility for coordinating hard and soft FM services and leading cross-functional teams on site.
You will provide guidance on compliance, risk, work control and asset governance, while promoting continuous improvement and value for money across the portfolio.

Location: RG7 4PR, located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking.
Package: £48950 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience).
Working Pattern: AWE operates a 9-day working fortnight, with every other Friday as a non-working day. This role is operational and customer-facing, so employees are required to work fully onsite. We support flexible working arrangements where possible, including part-time and varied working hours, while maintaining an onsite presence.
You will be a trusted advisor on facility performance, compliance, work control and operational risk. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing facility-related risk mitigation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Important things you need to know: You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. This will be funded by AWE. The nature of our work does mean you need to be a British Citizen who has been resident in the UK for the past 5 years in order to apply for SC clearance and 10 years for DV.
