The City of Edinburgh Council is hiring a Facilities Technician to join the Facilities Management team. You will perform maintenance across our estate to keep buildings safe for staff and learners, with flexible hours from 10 to 36 hours and a permanent position with above-market terms.

Trinity Academy

Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks
Salary: £27,257 - £29,850

As a Facilities Technician with the City of Edinburgh Council, you'll be a key member of our Facilities Management team. You'll deliver a vital janitorial service across our estate to ensure our properties are a safe places to work or learn in. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
