Job summary

Unite Group, via Unite Students, invites you to join our facilities team to keep student living spaces safe, clean and welcoming. You’ll resolve maintenance issues, support health and safety, and help residents thrive in a dynamic student community.

This permanent role is 37.5 hours a week, with 8am–8pm shifts across 5 days, weekends on rota. A valid UK driving license is essential, and you’ll benefit from a bonus, generous leave, pension, life cover and more.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Basic maintenance skills in joinery, plastering, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
• Experience in general maintenance or customer-facing roles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance to keep buildings safe and well-maintained.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across sites.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
• Record issues using PDA or digital tools and coordinate with engineers.
