Job summary

Brunel Academies Trust in England is seeking a proactive Facilities Technician to manage day-to-day maintenance, safety and compliance across our provision sites. You will lead on-site repairs, coordinate contractors and keep records up to date.

This role requires practical maintenance skills, a good grasp of health and safety, and the ability to prioritise workloads while communicating effectively with school leaders, central teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Practical maintenance and DIY skills for repairs and basic installations.
• Understanding of health and safety and compliance responsibilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead on site maintenance, repairs and small improvement projects.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and service providers.
• Maintain records and support fleet management and events.
• Work with Headteachers and central teams to deliver service.
