Job summary
Soho House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to oversee daily upkeep, safety, and efficient operation of the club’s facilities. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform preventative tasks, and collaborate with operations and housekeeping to uphold high standards across the property.
Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry, plus knowledge of safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry work.
- Familiarity with building systems and preventative maintenance protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and record-keeping abilities.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general repairs and preventative maintenance on plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Conduct daily inspections ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance tickets from members or staff.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs and servicing.
- Monitor HVAC, lighting and water systems for proper operation.
- Ensure tools and areas are tidy and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in events from a facilities perspective and liaise with contractors.
- Report hazards or safety concerns to Management and support emergency procedures.
