Job summary

Silverstone is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Escapade at Silverstone to maintain facilities equipment and infrastructure across guest and public areas. You will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond to maintenance requests promptly.

The role emphasizes safety, guest service, and collaboration with contractors and vendors. A driving licence is desirable and DBS checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel or lifestyle brand is desirable but not required.
• Adhere to health and safety, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure relevant qualifications are met and up to date.
• A good command of the English language; additional languages are advantageous.
• Maintains impeccable personal grooming and hygiene standards.
• Competent in using IT systems and software including Microsoft Office.
• Full clean UK driving licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment to ensure they operate effectively and safely.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems).
• Assist the maintenance manager in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency situations promptly and efficiently.
• Work with contracts and vendors to complete maintenance repair projects.
• Provide friendly and responsive service to guests and address requests professionally.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance across the site.
