Proactive Personnel Ltd in Telford is seeking a Facilities Technician with a plumbing and mechanical background to provide hands-on maintenance across our facilities. You will respond to maintenance requests, perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and support installation and improvement projects.

This role suits an independent, proactive technician who can prioritise tasks, work to high safety standards and uphold statutory regulations while minimising disruption to the business.

Competenze

• Ideally apprentice-trained or qualified to Level 3 (or equivalent) in Plumbing, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
• A recognised plumbing qualification is essential.
• IOSH Working Safely qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience within a facilities maintenance or operations environment.
• Good knowledge of building services, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Understanding of statutory compliance requirements and health and safety legislation.

Proactive Personnel are recruiting for a Facilities Technician with a plumbing and mechanical background on behalf of our client based in Telford. The successful candidate will provide technical and hands-on maintenance support across our facilities in Telford, ensuring that all building infrastructure, services and equipment are maintained to a high standard.

Hours 8.30am - 5pm

You will play an important role in ensuring a safe, compliant and well-maintained working environment, responding to maintenance requests, carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and supporting installation and improvement projects. This is a varied, hands-on role requiring someone who can work independently, demonstrate a proactive approach and respond effectively to maintenance issues to minimise disruption to the business.

Key Responsibilities
