Job summary

Manpower UK in Derry is seeking a Facilities Technician to join its facilities team in a busy, regulated production environment. You will support day-to-day facilities management, coordinate contractor visits and maintenance activities, and help ensure safe, compliant operations.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will assist with planning maintenance, monitor schedules, and help with audits and record keeping.

Qualifications

• Essential: engineering or maintenance-related qualification and strong understanding of health and safety legislation.
• Essential: good organisational and communication skills.
• Essential: ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Coordinating contractor visits and service works.
• Monitoring maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance requirements are met.
• Conducting follow-up inspections to verify completed works.
• Supporting audits and maintenance record management.
• Assisting with facilities-related projects across the site.
• Providing cover for the Facilities Manager during periods of absence.
• Supporting the wider engineering and facilities teams as required.
