Job summary

Amey is offering a permanent Facilities Team Leader position at HMP Liverpool, 68 Hornby Road, Liverpool, L9 3DF. The base salary is £34,054 - £40,060, with standard hours of 39 per week and a rota between Monday to Thursday 07:45-16:45 and Friday to Sunday 07:45-15:45.

There is a requirement to work 1 in 4 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional 15% of basic salary as an allowance. Amey supports its MoJ account and provides a range of benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Calm attitude under pressure to manage teams and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and compliance.
• IT literate and able to use standard software.
• Facilities Management qualifications and/or IOSH are advantageous.
• Experience with Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in and supervise the delivery of facilities services to the prison in line with contractual commitments.
• Ensure health, safety and security of staff, contractors, premises and equipment by promoting best practices.
• Liaise with HMPS management to receive and manage expectations and deadlines.
• Communicate problems promptly to line management to ensure quick resolutions.
