Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Facilities Assistant to support the Defence, Government and Energy services sector on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). You will help maintain high facility standards, assist with contractor processes, and handle opening/closing duties to ensure smooth operations across the site.

The ideal candidate will have prior facilities experience, be adaptable, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate reliability with excellent timekeeping,

Qualifications

• Relevant facilities or maintenance experience.
• Adaptable to changing priorities and workload.
• Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Reliable with strong timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Exterior site maintenance and cleaning tasks.
• Control of contractor processes, including sign‑in/sign‑out and adherence to site rules.
• Opening and/or closing the building when required.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
