Job summary

Kirklees College is seeking a Facilities Support Officer for Brunel Construction Centre (HD2 1AG). The role focuses on keeping a clean, safe, well-maintained site with 37 hours per week. You’ll open and secure buildings, carry out basic maintenance, and help safeguard students, staff and visitors.

Hours and Weeks per Year:

37 hours / 52 weeks shifts between 6am-9.30pm

In the role of Facilities Support Officer your focus will be on keeping a clean, safe, well-maintained site.

Your key responsibilities will be Opening and securing the buildings, carrying out basic maintaince, maintaining the safety of the buildings.

Ideally, you’ll have a trade background or demonstrable experience in caretaking/basic maintaince. It’s important that you’re able to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team and demonstrate our college values of Kindness, Unity and Excellence in your role.
