Job summary

Sodexo is hiring an Assistant Facilities Manager for its Sheffield office. The role oversees day-to-day facilities services, manages two cleaners, and coordinates contractors to maintain a safe, welcoming workplace. October 2026 start date with a competitive salary and benefits.

You will lead on-site services, ensure high cleanliness and food hygiene where applicable, and act as the main on-site Sodexo representative for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management, workplace services or similar.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers or on-site services.
• Knowledge of cleaning operations and COSHH.
• Understanding of health and safety at a workplace.
• Basic food hygiene awareness is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day facilities services at the Sheffield office.
• Manage two cleaners and coordinate external contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee on-site cleaning, breakfast service and hygiene standards.
• Ensure health, safety and customer service are maintained at high levels.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents and service requests.
