Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) Birmingham is seeking a Facilities, Safety & Pass Office Manager to lead the day-to-day management of office environments, security, and pass control systems to support colleagues safely and productively.

You will oversee compliance with health and safety legislation, drive continuous improvements, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and service providers to deliver high-quality workplace services.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility management within a large organisation.
• Experience monitoring and assuring health and safety compliance at a workplace.
• Experience conducting audits and assurance activities to drive improvements.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and service providers to deliver workplace services.

Responsibilities

• Operation of security access control systems ensuring accurate permissions for staff, contractors and visitors.
• Monitor and assess compliance with health and safety legislation, security policies, and statutory requirements, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and assurance activities, analysing findings and translating them into actionable recommendations.
• Oversee and evaluate landlord and third-party service delivery, influencing outcomes to meet standards and contractual expectations.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks to safety, compliance and operational continuity, implementing mitigation actions.
