Job summary

Runwood Homes is recruiting a Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and compliance of a portfolio of care homes. You will work with Home Managers, Maintenance Operatives, and external contractors to cover 18 homes across Warwickshire, Doncaster and Nottingham.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of health & safety, and the ability to triage issues across multiple sites while prioritising repairs and improvements for resident safety and care quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property or facilities management (care, healthcare, or similar regulated environment desirable).
• Strong knowledge of health & safety, building compliance, and statutory testing.
• Confident managing multiple sites and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive, solutions-focused, and highly organised.
• Able to work independently and as part of a senior management team.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and compliance of a portfolio of care homes. This is a key leadership role ensuring our homes remain safe, well-maintained, and fully compliant, supporting high-quality care environments for residents and staff.

The successful candidate will work closely with Home Managers, Maintenance Operatives, and external contractors to deliver effective property management across the group. You will cover 18 care homes across Warwickshire, Doncaster and Nottingham.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day property and maintenance operations across multiple care homes
• Ensure all buildings are safe, compliant, and maintained to a high standard
• Manage planned and reactive maintenance programmes
• Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, CQC standards, and statutory requirements

The successful candidate will need to have relevant experience and ideally have worked in a similar environment. The candidate will have good overall knowledge of how a care home building works as will be first point of call for issues/repairs and will need to be able to triage the calls and discuss repair options over the phone or in person.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
