Job summary

Pertemps Bond in East London is seeking a proactive Facilities PPM Technician on a part-time temporary basis to support a busy student accommodation site.

You will perform reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance to keep the building safe, compliant and ready for residents, with 9am-5pm hours, three days per week. This role offers an ongoing temporary assignment and PAYE pay, at £16.92 per hour.

Qualifications

• Proven building maintenance experience.
• City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Experience with PPM routines.
• Ability to work independently.
• Clear communication and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance repairs - routine fault finding and minor repairs.
• PPM duties - fire alarm tests, lift inspections, plant room checks, emergency lighting inspections, critical equipment checks and external property inspections.
• Health & Safety compliance - ensuring safe working practices and accurate record-keeping.
