Job summary

Aberystwyth University is seeking a porter and cleaning assistant to support day-to-day operations at Penglais campus and across university sites in Aberystwyth. You will work under the direction of the Manager delivering portering, cleaning, and related duties to maintain a safe, clean, and functional campus environment.

• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of cleaning operations.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to intruder and fire alarm activations and emergencies.
• Car Park duties during events and Open/Visiting days.
• Portering duties: setting up meeting rooms and moving items.
• Clean designated areas and manage refuse.
• Report maintenance issues and attend team meetings.
• Adhere to health and safety duties and COSHH requirements.
